There are differences between the ITF and the UTF; however there are also common things such as many of the patterns and some terms.   For differences: they have 5 tenets and we have 7 tenets, their Student Oath is slightly different from ours, their patterns incorporate something called "sine wave".   -R.Copeland, 1/07/2011.
