- Began training with Master Langlas in 1986
- Instructor of in-school and after-school programs on Chicago's west-side from 2000-2007
- Director of Pathways for Achievement(PFA) 2007 to 2009. PFA is a not-for-profit organization aimed as helping at-risk teenagers learn Taekwondo, get tutoring help with their schoolwork, and perform community service. (This is a UTF sanctioned organization.) Pathway programs are taught by volunteer adults and basic funding is provided by private donors, small businesses and corporations.
- Participant on numerous demonstration teams.
- Promoted to 4th Dan in 2008
